Judaism is one among the oldest religious tradition s still in practice today. Judaism is the religion of the Jewish people. Judaism is the world's eleventh-largest organized religion. Judaism is embodied in the Tanakh and the Talmud on the basis of principles and ethics. As per the Jewish tradition, the history of the religion called Judaism begins with the agreement between God and Abraham. Abraham is the paterfamilias and primogenitor of the Jewish people. A person can be considered as a Jew if anyone born of a Jewish mother or converted in accord with Jewish Law. Today all mainstream forms of Judaism are open to sincere converts. The tradition of Judaism maintains that a Jew whether by birth or conversion, is a Jew forever.
