    Archeological data and proofs indicate that country of Bahrain bears the significant traces of several ancient religions . Other than the Egyptian impact the cultural tradition of ancient Bahrain was highly influenced by the Assyrian Empires. During the early of fourth century BC when Alexander the great was on the way of conquering the world, his entry in Bahrain brought several eminent influences on the terrain. The noteworthy impact and influences of several communities like Roman, Greek and Parthian are noticed after that historical incident.

    The religions including Judaism and Christianity entered in the state of Bahrain as well as Gulf region from several aspects including Ethiopian Christians of the southern region and from Mesopotamia, Jewish and Christian tribes in the region of Arabian desert, where Jewish and Christian communities expanded under Tasmanian rule.

    In the year of 2002, it was surveyed that about 90% of the populace of Bahrain was of Muslim religion, with about two-thirds committed to the Shia division and the remaining in Sunni. The non-Muslim communities of this country integrate Sikhs, Christians, Jews, Hindus and Buddhists who can observe their conviction and religion freely.
