The climate of Australia is influenced by the sea coasts and equatorial temperature.
The mainland of Australia is divided by the tropic of Capricorn. Hence, the southern Australia enjoys a temperate climate and the northern Australia has a tropical climate. The northern states of Australia experience a hot and moist climate whereas the southern states are hot with maximum temperature rising up to 105F (41C) degrees in Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney. Temperature between 25 to 33 degree Celsius is very comfortable in Australia.
The Northern Territory and Queensland are the tropical states enjoying the expected climatic changes. During the winter season daily average climate ranges from 68 to 75 Fahrenheit degrees (or 20 to 24 Celsius degrees). Rainfall is unusual during the winters. The tropical islands of Great Barrier Reef and Queensland and the white beaches are at the peaks of pleasant weather. But in the southern parts like Melbourne the climate is less predictable. In August the temperature can drop as low as 56F or 13C degrees and can rise to a maximum temperature of 23C or 72F degrees.
