Australia Visa Form

One is required to fill up the Australia visa Form before visiting Australia . Australia visa is an official stamp for a trip to Australia for various purposes. Visa to Australia is granted to a person by the concerned Visa officer after the assessment of the application form submitted by the person who wants to visit Australia . To apply for a Visa one is required to have a valid passport.

There are several types of Australia Visa Forms , based on the kind of visit to Australia . The Australia Visa form number varies with the person's kind of trip. They are :

•  Tourist Visa - form 48R, there are certain rules to be followed while on trip as per the Tourist's visa, they are: one is not allowed to work in Australia.

•  Sponsored Family Visitor's Visa -- form no. 48S for the visitor and form no.1149 for the sponsor

•  Medical Visa -- form no. 48ME

•  Short Business Trip Visa —form no.456

•  Student Visa – form no. 457

To apply for the Australia Visa one is required to fill up a form with proper and correct information, as wrong information would lead to cancellation or refusal of the Australian Visa . Proper residential address, vaccination and health insurance are among the most important thing that one need to have while applying for a Visa.

With the application submitted for Australia Visa Form , a person is required to attach certain documents for verification and as a proof of Authentic information that he/she is giving. The documents to be attached are listed below:

•  Recent and Valid Passport

•  Passport photo

•  The application charge

On receiving the visa form one can check for the following:

•  Name of the office from where your visa has been granted

•  Name of the receiver and the name of the family members if included in the application

•  Information regarding the validity of your Visa, they are:

- Date of the visa granted

- Date by which you have to enter into Australia

- Number of times granted to you to visit Australia within the validity period of your Visa

- The Period that is authorized to you for your Visit in Australia.

•  Type of Visa that has been granted

•  The Conditions are to be followed as attached to your Visa:

- 8101- Not allowed to work

- 8201-Study for a maximum period of three months

- 8205-x-ray of the chest if your period of study requires more than four months

- 8503-not allowed to stay further, this visa restricts you from applying for another visit in Australia.

One can apply for Visa both on line and on paper. There is a non-refundable charge for the processing of the application. If a Visa is not granted to the concerned person this amount is not given back.
