Australia Department Immigration is a department of Australian Government and Australasian Police Multicultural Advisory Bureau is a division of the Australia department immigration and citizenship. It looks after diversity based on religious issues for emergency services and operational police. Apart from this, the multi-faith issues of this department include family and roles of gender, physical awareness, religious issues, oaths and deaths. On 26 th November 2001 the Immigration and Multicultural Affairs (DIMA) has merged with the Reconciliation and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Affairs department and had formed the Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs Department (DIMIA). From 27 th January 2006 the responsibility of indigenous affairs has been transferred to the Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs department. On 23 rd January, 2007 the Immigration and Multicultural Affairs Department was renamed.

The main mission of DIAC, The Department of Immigration and Citizenship is to look after the overall wellbeing of the Australians through settling the people.
