Australia history commenced more than 40,000-45,000 years ago when the earliest inhabitants of Australia , the primitive “Aboriginals” dwelt on the Australian Continent.The first man to explore the island was a Dutch named Williem Janszoon in the year 1606. The same year saw the arrival of another explorer named Louis Vaez de Torres who named the Torres Strait. It is recorded that both of them met the “ Aboriginals”.

The Commonwealth of Australia was formed in 1901, through the federation of six states under a single constitution, with the aim of creating a new social, cultural, and economical atmosphere leaving the pitfalls of the old times behind.
