Western Australia’s biggest University is the Curtin University of Technology. It has nearly 31000 students. Among these 11000 are offshore and onshore global students. 1000 are research students. The name of the University is derived from the name of Australia Prime Minister John Curtin. The main campus of The University is located about six kilometers from Perth in Bently.Two supplementary and local campuses are located in Kalgoorie and Northam.Curtin’s latest campus has been built at Sydney Central Business District in 2005.
