The University of Queensland and the Queensland Beauty School are world famous The University of Queensland was established on 10 December 1910.Its main campuses are at St Lucia, Ipswich and Gatton. Professor John A. Hay AC is its President and Vice Chancellor. It is governed by the Senate which has 22 members. The Governal General appoints 8 members and the other 8 members are appointed by the staffs, students and graduates. The Senate appoints extra 3 members.
The University has 18000 computers which also includes supercomputers. It has 13 libraries which have wide and varied collection of books for the students
