Being a bit different can at times get you attention. And in the case of Donald Trump, he has got a lot of attention, to the point where he is giving sleepless nights to his Republican opponents. His comments which range from barring Muslims from entering America, loading up Guantanamo Bay with “bad dudes”, to the Hillary Clinton ‘got schlonged’ in 2008 (the list is endless), Donald Trump has said it all. His critics might have been horrified by his comments and unleashed a war of words on Twitter, but it has had no impact on Trump or his loyal supporters, who ensured his victory, in South Carolina, New Hampshire, and Nevada (he came second in Iowa). Will he become the next President of the US? Only the November 8 election results will tell.

Who says Donald Trump only knows how to use his tongue? He is pretty good with his hands too. Vince McMohan, the chairman of the World Wrestling Entertainment, learnt it the hard way at the “Battle of the Billionaires” match, which was held on April 1, 2007 at WrestleMania XXIII. As the story goes, both Trump and McMohan had their wrestlers representing them at the match. But the story did not end with the loser shaking hands with the victor and walking off the stage. Rather, the person, whom the loser was representing, had to get his head shaved by the other side. In the end, McMohan’s wrestler lost and Trump had to give him a nice haircut.

Hollywood Walk of Fame

Now what does Hollywood Walk of Fame got to do with Donald Trump? Well, the vibrant business man-cum politician has his own Hollywood Walk of Fame, which was accorded to him in 2007 for producing and hosting the NBC reality TV show – The Apprentice.

Trump: The Game

Way back in 1989, Donald Trump decided to come out with a product that would serve as a useful entertainment tool for the American population. So, he came out with Trump: The Game. Centered around the real estate industry, the game was to be played by three to four players who must buy and sell real estate and trump each other in business deal. Trump’s idea was to provide people with some entertainment. However, they thought otherwise and the game was commercially a failure. As of 2015, the game can still be purchased at eBay listings and thrift shops.

Trump’s family name was originally Drumpf

The Trumps were previously Drumpf but they changed the title in the 17th century Germany. In the 1880s, Trump’s grandfather emigrated from Germany to the United States of America.

Trump had his own brand of Vodka

Trump has never touched alcohol, but that has not deterred him from coming out with his own brand of Vodka. In 2006, he introduced Trump vodka. The vodka was launched with much fanfare under the slogan “Success Distilled”. However, it did not generate much interest and was discontinued in 2011.
