Rosario in Argentina is the largest city of Santa Fe province, overlooking the western banks of River Parana. As the principal Argentina town, its strategic location at the heart of country's
industrial belt with some of the highest population concentration, has given it a metropolitan identity.

Permanent human settlement at Rosario in Argentina began as early as the 17 th century.
