La Pampa is centrally located in Argentina in the Pampas. Santa Rosa is the capital city of La Pampa. La Pampa spreads over an area of 143,440 square kilometers. La Pampa is surrounded by other provincial states namely Mendoza, Neuquen, Rio Negro, Buenos Aires, Corboda and San Luis . The two main rivers of La Pampa region are namely, River Colorado and River Salado.
The climatic condition prevails here as it is in the Pampas region. The climate of the region affects vegetation of the region. The weather is predominantly temperate with a little humidity. The northwestern region of the La Pampas experiences good humidity.
Economy of La Pampa is mainly dependent on cattle rearing. Sheep, goat and pig are reared by many to make their living. Agriculture also forms the backbone of the region. Products like wheat, barley, sunflower, alfalfa, maize and other cereal products are grown in the region of La Pampa. La Pampa also has a network of dairy farms . There are near about 25 cheese factories in the region. Salt extraction and honey production also adds to the economy of the region.
Tourism industry is not much developed but the tourists often flocks in to visit
Lihue Calel National Park and
Parque Luro Provincial Reserve .
