De Slegte that also sells second-hand books and Scheltema's the best of the Dutch bookstores, Atheneum Boekhandel (Spui 14-16 Ph: 622 6248) that has an extensive collection of as politics, history, academics, philosophy, and literature are the other popular book shops in the city.
Use of Electrical Appliances: Holland has a high voltage of 220 volts. The travelers are requested to carry along a power converter and an adapter for two-prong, round-prong plugs. Hotels have a 110 or 120-volt outlet for shavers. People can use battery-operated appliances if they find it comfortable than using electrical ones.
