The main items available in the store that was established in 1887 are clothing, shoes, fashion accessories, home electric appliances, kitchen utensils, furniture, china, stationary, tourist and camping equipment, books and CD´s. The food shop inside the store is the main attraction of the tourists. The fresh meals, pizzas, salads and wines available make the store crowded especially in the evenings. Located at the Munt tower, the V&D can be accessed from Rokin 203 and from Kalverstraat Streets.
