Snowskating

Snowskating is the adventure sport , kin to snowboarding , where the participants enjoy the excitement and thrill of skating on the snow wearing a flat skate deck . The sport has been developed with the features from different other sports like snowboarding and snowboarding. The main gear for this sport is the snow skate decks , made by joining the decks of skateboards to the skis. Now-a-days, the single deck skateboards are more popular among the skaters. The bideck skates are the examples of creative instincts of man. They are made by mounting the skateboard deck on a mini snowboard or ski . But it is the single deck ski that gives the skaters extra advantage in performing the ski board tricks. The sport of Snowskating gives a lot of fun and thrill to the skaters.

The sport of Snowskating is taken to have been invented by Steve Frink at a bonfire party at Stevens Pass, Washington . When Frink combined an old skateboard deck to a broken ski to create a bideck snow skate, he hardly had any idea that he was creating an adventure sport that would become extremely popular in near future. Presently, a number of companies like the Gnu, Van Shoes, Premier, Varient3 and others are engaged in creating snow skates which have taken the form of merchandise.

Being an adventure sport, snowskating involves a little bit of risk in it. Yet the sport is being embraced by a large number of players everyday which is making it one of the most-loved adventure sports of the recent times.
