Airsoft

Airsoft , a type of adventure sport , gives excessive fun and recreation with the participants getting involved in simulation of military combat with smoothbore Airsoft guns . The game is also known as MilSim . The game is played between a number of teams with several missions being assigned to each. The games are played either in modern or historical real world battle form . While playing the historical battle form, some restrictions are imposed. These may include the use of only those weapons which were available during that era. In some battles, the amount of ammunition that can be carried is also restricted.

Airsoft, the adventure game, originated in the eastern parts of Asia in the countries like Japan, China, Korea, Hong Kong and others. As the firearms were not available there due to some constraints of the local laws, the people used the MilSim as a channel of realizing their dreams of enjoying their passion of using weapons. The participants are usually dressed in camouflage patterns which the military uses in real life.

The sport of Airsoft needs physical fitness and also involves a lot of dangers as a lot of traveling in the open air is necessary. Still the thrill associated with the game has made it extremely popular among the participants and also common men and the game is gradually becoming a common name worldwide.
