Rhode Island Republican Primary-March 4

center March 5, 2008: John McCain has won the Rhode Island Republican Primary - March 4, defeating Mike Huckabee by a margin of over 40% popular votes. McCain has received 65% of the total popular votes, while Huckabee has won 22% of them. McCain has also won the support of 13 delegates out of the total of 17 pledged delegates from the State who tied for the March 4 Primary. Huckabee has secured the support of the remaining 4 delegates.

Ron Paul has emerged a distant third with only 7% of the popular votes and no delegate votes, while 2% of the total electorates chose to stay uncommitted to any candidate.
