Missouri Republican Primary - February 5
John McCain was declared the projected winner of the Missouri Republican Primary - February 5 after the completion of polling in the state. After a close battle with Mike Huckabee and Mitt Romney, McCain walked off victorious securing 33% of the total votes.

Out of the total number of votes, Mitt Romney gathered 29% while Paul and Giuliani had 4% and 1% respectively. Close battle over the candidature occurred between Huckabee and McCain who won 32% and 33% of the votes respectively. Off the total 58 Republican delegates, all pledged their support to McCain.

Almost equal participation was seen among the female and male voters in Missouri Republican Primary. Highest percentage of voters in Missouri, February 5 belonged between the age of 45 and 59 years. There was also a high turn out of the senior citizen group in the February 5 Republican Missouri primary. 23% of the voters belonged to the age group between 30 and 44 years while 13% belonged to the youngest age group.
