Georgia Republican Presidential Primary - February 5
The Georgia Republican Presidential Primary - February 5 had 99% participation from the precincts. Mike Huckabee won the election of Super Tuesday with 325, 602 (34%) popular votes and 45 delegates. Huckabee was followed by John McCain who secured a total of 32% of the votes in Georgia.

The State of Georgia holds15 electoral votes. Having 5, 142, 745 registered voters, the Georgia Primary has 69 Republican Super Tuesday delegates. According to the Republican Exit Polls, 52% of the Georgia voters are males. The age division of the State focuses on the fact that maximum number of voters (34%) fall under the age group of 45 to 59. While 26% of the voters are above the 60, 28% are between the 30 to 44 age limit.

The other US Primaries where Huckabee emerged as a clear winner on February 5 Super Tuesday elections include Arkansas, Alabama and Tennessee. West Virginia and Iowa Caucuses elected Huckabee as the Republican Presidential nominee.
