Feb 9, 2008: Mike Huckabee won the Kansas Republican Presidential Caucus - February 9 quite convincingly. He defeated his nearest rival, John McCain, by a margin of 36% votes. Huckabee received 11,627 state delegate votes in comparison to McCain's tally of 4,587 votes. Ron Paul and Mitt Romney received 2,182 (11%) and 653 (3%0 votes respectively. However, Romney has already pulled out of the race for the Republican Presidential Candidate.
Huckabee, who was declared as the Projected Winner at the Republican Caucus Kansas -February 9, also bagged the support of all the 36 national delegates. They would, in turn, vote for him at the Republican National Convention.
