GOP Primary at West Virginia – May 13

May 14, 2008: Frontrunner John McCain has predictably won the Republican Primary at West Virginia – May 13. McCain has received an overwhelming 76% of the popular votes. He has also secured the support of 9 out of the total 18 delegates tied for the May 13 Republican Primary at West Virginia, according to the latest reports. However, both the number of popular votes and the delegate counts can go up after the final results are declared.

Mike Huckabee and Ron Paul, who have already withdrawn from the race, have won 10% and 5% of the popular votes respectively in the GOP Primary at West Virginia. McCain is also preparing himself up for the forthcoming elections, has recently distanced himself from the stance of the Bush administration about the global climate change. He stated that he will definitely bring about the necessary changes to control the rate of greenhouse emissions during his Presidential tenure, if he gets elected.
