New Jersey Democratic Primary - 5th February witnessed a major participation of 99 % of precincts.
New Jersey incorporates a total of 4,810,437 registered voters. According to the New Jersey Democratic Primary Result, Hillary Clinton has defeated his closest rival Obama with a margin of 10% of popular votes. Clinton managed to secure the support of 51 delegates while Obama secured 37 delegate votes.
Edwards is in the third position, with 1% votes. He achieved no delegate vote. Clinton achieved 602,576 popular votes, while Obama acquired 492,186 popular votes. Forty percent of the total voters were male and fifty eight percent were female. Majority of the voters belong to the age group between 45 and 59.

Mike Gravel and John Edwards.
In the pre-election campaigning for the New Jersey Primaries, Clinton primarily campaigned to woo female voters, whereas Obama focused on young voters and blacks. Both of them took the advantage of the television media as a part of their electioneering campaign.
