Clinton’s win at the Puerto Rico Democratic Primary is a great moral boost for her, as the Primaries season draws to a close. Few believe it will have any real impact on the final results of the nomination, which is presently tilted decisively towards Obama. Obama is now only about 50 delegates away from the nomination. He is moreover the favorite at Montana and South Dakota, the two states to hold the Democratic Primaries today.
The entire Democratic Party now feels it is about time to draw this protracted and rather bitter rivalry towards an end. The win at the Puerto Rico Primary will help Sen. Clinton to end the season on a strong note, even if she fails the bridge the gap of about 170 delegates that now exists between her and Obama.
