Nebraska Democratic Presidential Caucus- February 9

Nebraska Feb 9, 2008: Barack Obama swept the Nebraska Democratic Presidential Caucus- February 9 by a margin of 36% votes over his rival Hillary Clinton. A total of 25,986 state delegates cast their ballot in favor of Obama. This amounted to 68% of the votes cast at the Democratic Caucus Nebraska -February 9. Clinton, on the other hand, received 32% of the votes, accounting for 12,396 state delegates. Obama was declared the Projected Winner from Nebraska.

Obama also got the support of 16 national delegates at the Democratic Presidential Caucus Nebraska who would be voting for him in the National Convention. Clinton could secure only 8 national delegates.
