Virgin Islands Democratic Caucus-Feb. 9

Virgin Island
The Virgin Islands Democratic Caucus-Feb. 9 was won by Sen. Barack Obama. It was the fourth feather on his cap for that day, along with Louisiana, Nebraska and Washington. Virgin Islands has six delegates, which is equivalent to three delegates, as each delegate is allotted half a delegate vote in the Virgin Islands.

It was a clean sweep for Sen. Barack Obama at the Virgin Island Democratic Caucuses. Sen. Obama won 89.9% of the popular votes. Sen. Clinton finished with a mere 7% of the popular votes and could not win any delegate vote from the state. Sen. Obama won all the three pledged delegates from the Virgin Islands.
