Stewart Alexander is contesting the honorable post of US Vice President in 2008 US Presidential Election as a candidate of Socialist Party. In his professional and political career, Stewart Alexander headed many responsible posts. In the year of 1989, he contested the election for the Mayor of Los Angeles. In his campaigns, he has addressed many serious issues of US like inter-city problems, urban decay, gang problems in the County of Los Angeles. In the early part of 1990s, he worked as a marketing consultant for many important business organizations. In that period, he took the responsibility of Vice Presidency of the NAACP Inglewood South Bay Chapter. He also worked as a radio host on KTYM Radio in Los Angeles. In his talk shows, the gang problems in Southern California and Los Angeles were mainly addressed. He also analyzed the causes of poverty in many areas of US. He also showed the ways to develop jobs by youth programs.
Stewart Alexander, 2008 Presidential Candidate is a propagandist for democracy, socialism, feminism, ecology and racial parity and fights for the basic rights for all the US citizens. He preaches for peace and justice and raised his voice against the US invasion of Iraq demanding the withdrawal of US troops from Iraq.
He also aims at the free college education for all California students by 2009. To make this into effect, he has submitted a plan to the state leaders.
