Earl Dodge has been nominated as one of the Prohibition Party candidates to run the 2008 US Presidential Election. Earl Dodge has been elected for the same by a faction of the party members. He took birth on 24th December in the year of 1932 at Malden in Massachusetts. He completed his 10th standard from a public school at Malden. He could not continue his studies further after the death of his father. In 1959, he attended the Narcotics Institute of Illinois.
Earl Dodge has been an active member of Prohibition Party for an excess of 50 years. Currently, he holds the post of National Chairman Emeritus of the Prohibition Party. He has contested many elections in his political career. He won 9400 votes when he contested the 1966 US Senate Election from Kansas. For five times Earl Dodge ran for elections of Governor of Colorado. For the Prohibition Party, he contested for the position of Vice President twice in 1976 and 1980. Till date, Earl Dodge has contested the US Presidential Elections for six times since 1984.
Earl Dodge, 2008 Presidential Candidate has always been a supporter of temperance movement. For the 2008 US Presidential Election, he is campaigning on other issues like anti-abortion, anti-gambling.
His honest political efforts have won him many awards like 'Good Government Award' by the Kalamazoo Good Government Association in 1971, 'Friend of Life Award' by the Colorado Right-to-Life Committee in 1981.
