Born on 6th of July1946 in Connecticut's New Haven, George W. Bush migrated to different states across the American mainland due to his father's varied professions, finally settling down in Texas. He is a history graduate from the Yale University in 1968, after which he joined the Texas Air National Guard as part-time fighter pilot till 1973. After having a MBA degree from Harvard Business School in 1975, he returned to his homeland Texas to start gas and oil business individually. He married Laura Welch in 1977 who borne him twin daughters Jenna and Barbara in 1981.
The political career of American President George Walker Bush began when he participated in political activities right from his childhood. However, the active participation started in 1977 when who took up the responsibility of running the U.S. Congress from the West Texas district.
After a brief unsuccessful period in politics, George Walker Bush left American politics, but soon returned for contesting the post of the Governor of Texas. His victory in the election by a majority of 53 percent votes was mainly due to his commitment on matters like educational policies and infantile justice. Prior to contesting for the Presidential Election, he was also re-elected as the Governor of Texas.
As the present President of United States, George W. Bush has immense contribution in directing the national politics in the right track. His successful handling of sensitive political issues like international terrorism, foreign policy and economic affairs not only led the American nation financially the most affluent country in the world, but maintain good relation with all foreign nations. In fact, under the presidency of George Walker Bush, America became the most powerful nation to wield its power for the sake of neutralizing terrorism and such ills.
