Ralph Nader a candidate of Green Party Presidential Campaign of US 2008 Presidential Election was born on 27th February in 1934. He is a political activist in the fields of humanitarianism, consumer rights, democratic government and environmentalism, and an American attorney.
Ralph Nader apart from being a true political figure has edited and authored several books like Unsafe at Any Speed, Action for a Change, Corporate Power in America, The Consumer and Corporate Accountability, In Pursuit of Justice and many more.
He believes that the corporations exert power more than it is required, which damages the fundamental American values of human rights and democracy. Ralph Nader is the founder of Environmental Protection Agency also known as EPA, Public Citizen, Occupational Safety and Health Administration or OSHA and many Public Interest Research Groups or PIRGs like New York Public Interest Research Group along with various governmental and non-governmental organizations.
In 1992, 1996, 2000 and 2004 Nader was nominated as the President. He stood as a Democrat in 1992 in the Democratic primaries. The following two times in 1996 and 2000 he was nominated from the Green Party and Reform Party respectively.
