Hillary Clinton

Though popular as the former First Lady of the United States of America, Hillary Clinton has an independent existence of her own in the American political scenario. In fact, she is a woman with exceptionally strong character and personality that was never clouded or shadowed by the successful political career of her husband, the former American President Bill Clinton.

Born on October 26th 1947 to Hugh and Dorothy Rodham, Senator Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton is the eldest child, with two younger brothers. After completing school and college education, she studied law from the Yale Law School, and this is also the place where she met her future husband, Bill Clinton and they got married in 1975. Their daughter Chelsea was born in 1980. She was also a part of the faculty of the Law School in University of Arkansas (1975) and the Rose Law Firm in 1976.

Democrat Hillary Clinton always strove to become a social worker and work for popular welfare. However, her political career started with becoming the First Lady of Arkansas for a span of 12 years, where she made a perfect balance between her personal life, public service and law practice. In Arkansas, she worked for child welfare by promoting proper healthcare, safety, legal, medical and educational facilities for them.

As the First Lady of United States of America, American Politician Hillary Clinton for president involved herself in numerous social and political activities, a handful of which triggered off controversies. Despite all criticisms that she still faces as one of the eminent and best US politicians, she is acclaimed and revered for her strong support to females across the world and her commitment for the welfare of global child population.

As the first Lady Senator, Hillary Clinton was elected to the United States Senate on November 7th, 2000. Her contributions as politician and the first woman winning a statewide election are immense, enriched and truly commendable.
