The
Constitution Party elects its candidates for US Presidential Elections through a National Convention, which is held after every four years. For the 2008 US Presidential Elections the
Constitution Party 2008 will decide upon its candidate at the National Convention, to be held in the month of April, 2008, in Kansas City.
While the decision of naming the Presidential Candidate will be implemented only in April, in the forthcoming year, there are a few names which have been finalized for contesting for the post of Presidential Candidate for
US Constitution Party. They are the following:
- Chuck Baldwin: Born on the 3rd of May, 1952, he is a conservative activist and has been preaching Christianity with great fervor for many years. He also hosts talk show named Chuck Baldwin Live in many radio stations. He was also the nominee for the 2004 Vice Presidential Elections for the United States Constitution party.
- Jim Gilchrist: He has served in the US Marine Corps and has been awarded with Purple Heart for his efforts in the Vietnam War. He is a string supporter of the law enforcement mechanisms and the organizations aiding them.
- Don Grundman: He is an anti-tax activist and also a therapist for treatment of chiropractic diseases.
- Alan Keyes: He is one of the frequently contesting Constitution Party candidate. Being the former US Ambassador, he has a political acumen required of the President of the United States of America.
- Bryan Malatesta: He is the Texas state party leader for Johnson County and also anti - tax activist.
- Diane Beall Templin: She has contested for the Presidential Elections for 11 times from California.
