Virginia Elections for the honorable post of US President as representatives of Republican Party include:
- Fred Thompson – The voter registration of this candidate was switched to Virginia in the year of 2006. Prior to it, he was the US Senator of Tennessee from 1994 to 2003. He is pressurizing the government to bring back troops from the land of Iraq and feels that federal budget should be used in education and not in war. He also professes the equal rights for the gays and lesbians.
