Candidates by States

"Candidates by States" with respect to United States Presidential Election refer to those participants who contest the election on behalf of their parties from independent American states. In fact, the system "Candidates by States" is in conformity with the rule in America that the state government takes up the responsibility of electing the President and it is not at all under the jurisdiction of the American Federal government.

In United States, a good number of political parties contest for Presidential Election from different states. Prominent among them are the Democratic and the Republican Parties that had been serving the nation since centuries.
