Lipizzaner Museum

Lipizzaner Museum, which is one of the most visited Vienna Attractions, preserves the history of Lipizzaner horses. The Lipizzaner horses are the world's oldest breed. The museum is situated in the former Imperial Court Pharmacy, which has been declared a historic landmark since 1997. The Lipizzaner Museum in Vienna is jointly administered by the Kunsthistorisches Museum and Imperial Spanish Riding School. The museum also gives a brief idea about the Imperial Spanish Riding School.



On visiting the Lipizzaner Museum of Vienna, people have a great deal of information about breeding methods of Lipizzaner, Imperial Spanish Riding School and the classic school teaching riding. The Lipizzans, which were bred from Lipizza in Slovenia, are the world famous Spanish white horses.
