Four major cities of the country will stage matches from the group league, quarter finals and a semi-final of Euro 2008. These cities are Geneva, Zurich, Berne and Basel.

The St. Jakob-Park in Basel is the most important of the Switzerland venues as the ground will host two quarter-finals and one semi-final along with a few group league matches. The stadium has a capacity of 33,000. Stade de Suisse Wankdorf of Berne has earned the honor of staging three Group C matches. The capacity of this stadium is around 32,000. Geneva will host 3 Group A matches in its Stade de Genev, which has a capacity of 31,000. Letzigrund Stadion in Zurich has been awarded three matches from Group C. It can accommodate 31,000 spectators at a time.
