venues in Switzerland are all ready and prepared to welcome the participants and soccer crazy fans from all over the continent and world. Four major cities of the country will stage matches from the group league, quarter finals and a semi-final of Euro 2008. These cities are Geneva, Zurich, Berne and Basel.

The St. Jakob-Park in Basel is the most important of the Switzerland venues as the ground will host two quarter-finals and one semi-final along with a few group league matches. The stadium has a capacity of 33,000. Stade de Suisse Wankdorf of Berne has earned the honor of staging three Group C matches. The capacity of this stadium is around 32,000. Geneva will host 3 Group A matches in its Stade de Genev, which has a capacity of 31,000. Letzigrund Stadion in Zurich has been awarded three matches from Group C. It can accommodate 31,000 spectators at a time.
