Euro 2008 Stadium Rules

Euro 2008 Stadium Rules have been jotted down to ensure security during the tournament. The Stadium Rules for Euro 2008 apply for all the stadiums which are scheduled to host the matches of the Euro 2008 tournament, being jointly hosted by Austria and Switzerland.

The major rules jotted down by the governing body for the stadiums of Euro 2008 encompass the entrance, liability, conducts inside the stadium and others. The Euro 2008 Stadium Rules prohibit the spectators from a number of conducts. These have been done to ensure security and safety of the players as well as the viewers. The spectators are forbidden to carry the following:

  • Drugs
  • Alcohols
  • Promotional Objects
  • Fireworks
  • Camera
  • Laser Pointers
  • Corrosive Substances
  • Objects made of Tough Materials

    The governing body of the Euro 2008 also prohibits the spectators from igniting a fire or smokes, standing on seats, sell goods and tickets or throw objects on pitch or towards another person

    The Euro 2008 Stadium Rules aim at maintaining peace in the stadiums. The breaking of these rules will be considered as punishable offences and may result in intervention by police.
