Presently, the building houses a rich collection of musical instruments, including Mozart's pianoforte. Mozart Wohnhaus also presents books, belonging to Leopold Mozart's library. One can also come across letters and autograph manuscripts in the cellar vault of the building. A multimedia show is also organized at this site in order to provide more information about Mozart. The wall-size charts bearing the personal details of the artist also helps the tourists to learn more about this great musician. A characteristic feature of the building is the salon, which is decorated in the contemporary style. This salon unveils the socio-cultural pattern of erstwhile Salzburg.
