Two of the three
Euro Cup Biggest Margins were recorded at the 1984 Euro Cup, France. The 7th edition of European championships saw two matches ending with 5–0 score-lines. On June 16th, 1984, Denmark defeated Yugoslavia by five goals to nil. The scorers were Bergreen, Elkjeer, Lauridsen and Arnesen, who scored two goals.
The eventual champion France also emerged victor against Belgium with an identical margin. The players who scored are Giresse, Fernandez and Platini. Platini netted thrice to complete his hat-trick for France. In Euro 2000, held at Portugal, Netherlands trounced Yugoslavia 6–1, again with a margin of five goals. Kluivert scored a hattrick, Marc Overmars scored a brace while Govederica scored one. Milosevic netted the lone goal for the losing side.
