The eight
Euro 2000 venues were spread across the two host nations – The Netherlands and Belgium. Each of the stadiums was well quipped to meet the international standards set by FIFA and UEFA.
The first match was played at Brussel's King Boudin Stadium, which has a capacity of 50,000. It also hosted one of the semi-finals. The other venues in Belgium were Jan Breydel Stadium in Brugge with a capacity of 30,000, Stade Maurice Dufranse of Liege and Stade du Pays de in Charleroi with both these venues having the same capacity of 30,000.
Another semi-final was played at Amsterdam Arena in the Dutch capital. The stadium at that time could accommodate 51,000 spectators. Philips stadium of Eidhoven and Gelredome in Arnhem were two other venues in The Netherlands. The stadiums had a capacity 33,000 and 30,000 respectively. The final was played in Holland itself. With a large capacity of more than 51,000, Feijenoord Stadium in Rotterdam was the venue for the final match of Euro 2000.
