Super power of European football, West Germany became the
Euro Cup 1980 Winner. This edition of the tournament was staged in Italy. This was their second triumph. They won this championship earlier in 1968.
The Germans scored 4 goals on their route to the final where they defeated the Belgians by a score-line of 2-1. Klaus Allofs emerged the top scorer of the team as well as the tournament by scoring 3 goals.
