Two beautiful stadiums in the cities of Madrid and Barcelona acted as the
Euro Cup 1964 venues. The final of Euro Cup 1964 was played in Madrid's Barnabeau Stadium. A crowd of more than 79,000 watched from the stands of the large stadium as the host team lifted the trophy. The third place play off was played in Barcelona's Nou Camp Stadium.
The semi final match between Spain and Hungary was played in Madrid while the other semi final between Soviet Union and Denmark was held in Barcelona.
