Three players scored 2 goals each to emerge as joint
Euro Cup 1964 Top Scorers. Jesus Maria Pareda of the host and champion Spanish team was one of the joint top scorers of 1964 Euro Cup. He scored a goal against Hungary in the semi-final and added another to his tally against USSR in the final.
The other two highest scorers of Euro – 1964 were Ferenc Bene of Hungary and his compatriot Dezso Novak. Bene scored one apiece against Spain in the semifinal and Denmark in the 3rd place play off and Novak scored both the goals against Denmark.
