The twins Trix and Flix were voted as the
Euro 2008 Mascot. The Euro 2008 Mascot was unveiled on the mountainous plains of Austria and Switzerland. The two boys with spiked hairs, wearing masks and clad in soccer jerseys mesmerized the audience by their football skills. They reveal various aspects of their soccer talents.
The mascot for Euro 2008 was created by Warner Brothers and would be used throughout the competition. A voting was held for naming these characters in Austria and Switzerland. Trix and Flix prevailed over Flitz - Bitz and Zagi –Zigi as more than 67,000 people voted in their favor. This accounted for 36.3 percent of the total vote cast to choose the
Euro 2008 Mascot.
According to the Euro 2008 governing body, Flix is an organized guy, while Trix has a much more casual attitude. This is clear from their style and fashion. However, on the soccer pitch, Flix complements the witty and impetuous style of Trix with excellent control of his game. Trix and Flix succeeded the highly popular Kinas, which was the mascot of Euro 2004 held in Portugal. The
Euro 2008 Mascot is expected to reach the zenith of popularity among the soccer fans as the tournament begins.
