Originally built at Heiligengeistplatz square of the city,
Trinity column - one of the famous Klagenfurt attractions, today stands pretty in the Alter Platz Square. According to historians, Trinity column of Klagenfurt was erected in the year 1680.
The wonderful wooden structure was built to remember the massive plague, which broke out during the 17th century in the city. With time, the wonderful tower was renovated and reconstructed before it was shifted to Alter Platz Square of Klagenfurt in 1965.
