The
Portuguese Jersey has earned immense respect from the soccer crazy population of the world. Second best in the Euro 2004 and semifinalist of the 2006 World Cup, Portugal has emerged as one of the soccer giants of Europe and the world as well. They have already qualified for Euro 2008.
The green and maroon jersey of Portugal national soccer team is one of the best looking jerseys. Designed and sponsored by Nike, the Portuguese jersey has a base of maroon with green borders on the sleeves and neck. The crew necked jersey has a neck band around it. The Swoosh sign of Nike is visible on the right chest while the logo of the Portuguese Football Federation is embroidered on the left. Both the sides of the shirt display the jersey number. Two yellow lines run down from the shoulder regions to the armpits. The team wears the jersey along with maroon shorts.
The alternate jersey is another attractive one with jet black foundation and yellow linings. The logos remain intact and the neck line is similarly shaped. The away jersey of Portugal is basically a white one with maroon neckline, the logo appears on the left front and the Nike symbol is done in green.
