Euro 2008- Poland: Poland has qualified to play in Euro Cup 2008, hosted by Austria and Switzerland in June.
Poland is included in Euro Cup 2008 Group B team along with Germany, Croatia and Austria. Poland has exhibited outstanding performances in the qualifying rounds of the Euro Cup matches. Leo Beenhakker, the coach of Poland led the team to reach Euro Cup 2008.
Poland began their qualifying match against Finland on 2nd September 2006. After that the team played against Serbia, Portugal, Belgium, Armenia, and Azerbaijan. Poland confirmed its Euro 2008 seat with a 2-0 victory against Belgium and after that they drew against Serbia. At the end of the qualifying round, Poland was the group leaders with one point forward of Portugal.
