Euro 2008- Czech Republic: Czech Republic will be participating in the Euro Cup 2008 to be held from 7th to 29th of June, 2008. Czech Republic started their qualifying campaign for the UEFA Euro 2008 on September 2, 2006. The team got 29 points in the qualifying round by contesting with teams like Cyprus, Republic of Ireland, Wales, San Marino, Slovakia and Germany. Czech Republic had a draw match with Wales and Republic of Ireland in the away match.
The team has been given the honor of starting their Euro Cup 2008 campaign in the inaugural match of the tournament against Switzerland on 7th of June, 2008, at St. Jakob-Park in Basel. They will play their next match against Portugal on 11th of June at Stade de Geneva. Their last match of the group league is scheduled on 15th June at the same venue against Turkey.
