The Fine Arts section of Musee d'Art et d'Histoire has paintings of famous artists like Rodin, Tinguely, Houdon and others. The Archaeological segment has a rich collection of prehistoric objects from Egyptian, Greek, Roman and other famous ancient civilizations.
The Museum of Art and History has a wonderful garden decorated with life size sculptures of renowned sculptors like Wiggli, Angeloz, Ramseyer, Phalle and Luginbuhl. Yvonne Lehnerr is the present director of this lovely museum while VCerena Villiger is his deputy.
