Euro Cup 2008

Euro Cup 2008, also known as the 2008 UEFA European Football Championship, is expected to be one of the most outstanding sporting events of the year. This edition of the championship will be held in Switzerland and Austria from the 7th to the 29th of June, 2008. The tournament will initially be played at the group stages and then will enter the knockout stage, which will culminate in the final of the Euro 2008 on the 29th of June at the Ernst Happel Stadion.

As many as 16 teams will be sweating out to win the Euro Cup 2008. Among these, both Austria and Switzerland won the right to play as the host countries, while the 14 other countries were determined through qualifiers.
