Museum Jean Tinguely preserves the works of the 20th century sculptor, Jean Tinguely who lived in Basel. The museum is located near Schwarzwaldbrücke, the motorway bridge on River Rhine in the Solitude Park area.

Museum Jean Tinguely at Basel was designed by the world famous architect, Mario Botta. The museum exhibits a collection of artifacts created by the maestro, Jean Tinguely during his lifetime. The collection comprises of motor driven relief, scrap assemblages, black-painted machine sculptures, pandemonic cycles, large sculptures and drawing machines. Some of the ceations were made with regular materials like wires, paint and tinplates.
