Tickets For the General Public
Tickets for the 2006 FIFA World Cup Finals in Germany can be obtained from two sources:
1. Firstly, the 2006 FIFA World Cup Ticketing Center (FWCTC), based in Frankfurt, Germany, which is the principal seller of tickets to the general public across the globe.
2. If you are unsuccessful in acquiring tickets from the FWCTC, FIFA has allocated to each of its Member Associations whose teams have qualified to participate in final competition of the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany.

Buying the Tickets
.Persons applying for 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany tickets must have attained atleast 18 years of age.
.Applications will be processed in the order they are received i.e. tickets will be allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis in the sales period.
Ticket Sales Periods
The first, second and third Sales Periods are over.
.The fourth sales period will commence on Wednesday, the 15th of February 2006 and will end on Saturday, the 15th of April 2006.
Tickets will be sold on "First come, first served" basis.
.The fifth sales period will begin on Monday, the 1st of May 2006 and will end by Sunday, the 9th of July 2006.
Tickets will be sold on "First come, first served" basis. Tickets can be obtained via the Internet, selected advance booking centres at the match venues.
.Please note applications will not be entertained in between sales periods.
Number of tickets per person household

A "household" is defined as one surname at one delivery address.
Individual tickets are on offer in four price categories.
Per household, you may apply for a maximum of four individual tickets for up to seven matches in categories 1-3.
In category 4, the cheapest category, the maximum is two individual tickets for up to three matches per household.
Each household may only apply for one price category per match.
This price category also applies to all joint applicants named on the application form.
You may not apply for tickets to more than one game scheduled for the same day.
Only one application per household is permitted per order period.
A "joint applicant" is defined as a person listed by the applicant by name on the application form.
Transfer of Tickets
Re-selling or re-allocating any ticket allocated to a specific person/household, without the consent of the Organization Committee of the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany is not allowed. The right purchased with the ticket to attend a particular match is invested in the person of the applicant or joint applicant and is non-variable and non-transferable. Any attempt to re-sell tickets without the approval of the Organization Committee of the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany will be deemed ticket touting / black market trading and will result in cancellation of the ticket.

The status of your application can be verified by logging in with a user name and password to the FWCTC website, accessible via www.fifaworldcup.com.
All forms of application including postal and fax applications must include a valid e-mail address.
The user name and password will be sent by e-mail to the e-mail address supplied.
All successful applicants will receive a confirmation document. |
Essential Information Required
The following information must be provided on the application form by the applicant and any joint applicants:
Last name, first name, street, postcode, town/city, country, nationality, sex, date of birth, passport number, e-mail address (optional on postal and fax applications), telephone number (optional), further address details (optional).
Applicants must also specify the number and type of tickets required.
The applicant must enter details of the method of payment.
The applicant name and name of the credit card/account holder must be identical.
Documents Accepted as ID
A personal national identity card or passport is the only acceptable form of identification and the only acceptable ID numbers to insert on the application form.
Paying for the Tickets
If you are allocated tickets in a draw, payment will have to be made in Euros and by the method you selected on the order form.
In the fourth sales phase the following methods of payment are accepted:
1. MasterCard card
2. Direct debit authorization (for clients with bank accounts in Germany)
3. Bank transfer (for clients without bank accounts in Germany)
Important: No other method of payment will be accepted.
Delivery of Tickets
Tickets ordered via successful, fully paid-up applications will be delivered to the address supplied by the applicant six to eight weeks ahead of the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany.
